Information on this website, and any genetic result or report we provide, is intended to support conversations with a qualified healthcare professional. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace consultation with your doctor or specialist.
3. Testing services and pricing
Prices shown are in South African Rand and include sample collection, courier costs and summary reporting unless stated otherwise. A Pharmacogenomics Consult is included with DNAMeds. Prices may change without notice; the price confirmed to you in writing at the time of ordering applies to your test.
4. Reports and future updates
Reports are summarised and guided by our expert pharmacists and genetic counsellors, and are based on the scientific evidence available at the time of reporting. As the science evolves, we may issue updated interpretations at no additional cost to you.
5. Consent and personal information
Genomic testing is carried out only with your informed consent. We process your personal and health information in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, and we do not sell your data.
6. Research participation
Participation in research, including the 108 000 African Genomes Project, is voluntary and requires separate, specific consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the testing service you have purchased.
7. Intellectual property
All trademarks, logos, text and images on this website belong to Antares Genomics or its partners and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Antares Genomics is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or from decisions taken without the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
